Small classes for groups. Great for a family get together, a party with friends, a mother and daughter class, a grandmother and grandkids class, or for when you're visiting the area. A guided tour of the area and the
Biblical site of Jacob's Dream can be included.
 
Choose your project and learn different techniques in a fun and relaxed creative

atmosphere. Bond with friends and family over group projects of your choosing. Class length depends on you and your project. Past projects include group mobiles, jewelry, puzzles, and family or individual name plaques but the sky’s the limit. If you have an idea, I’d be happy to figure out how you can create it.
 
Women's Classes
Kever HaSheikh Beginning Artistic Woodworking
5 class sessions of two hours each. Learn a new decorating technique each week. Techniques include painting techniques, decoupage, sculpting, burning, and gold leaf. Past projects include wall hangings, name plaques, tea boxes, and Havdalah sets.
 
Intermediate and Advanced Woodworking
Ongoing sessions of two hours each. Learn more about different types of wood and their properties, tools, safety rules, project planning and finishing. Tools used include the jigsaw, scroll saw, drill, sanding machines, Dremel and burner. Focus on developing your creativity and skillset. Past projects made include word art, wood jewelry, puzzles, intarsia, boxes and bowls, challah boards and tzedakah boxes.
Boys Classes
Beginning Carpentry
1st -3rd Grade Boys, 4th -7th Grade Boys. An introductory course about wood, tools, safety rules, project planning and finishing. Tools used include the scrollsaw, drill, sanding machines, and burner. Past projects include name plaques or pencil holders, wagon and horses, puzzles, Chanukah menorahs, and animal banks. Year long class.
 
Intermediate Carpentry
1st -3rd Grade Boys, 4th -7th Grade Boys. Gain the skills needed to plan larger projects according to the group’s desire and see them through to the end. Tools used include the jigsaw, belt sander, drill and drill press, scroll saw, protractor and square. Past projects include dock chairs, Adirondack chairs, garden
Kever HaSheikh
tables, bookcases, and "shtenders" (lecterns). Year long class.
 
Advanced Boys Carpentry
Small classes for boys who have already taken the Beginning and Intermediate Carpentry classes. Past projects include chess sets, intarsia (wooden carved mosaics), star, rimon and heart boxes, and bowls. Year long class.

Girls Classes

Beginning Artistic Woodworking
1st -3rd Grade Girls, 4th -7th Grade Girls. Learn about different types of wood and about various painting techniques as well as other decorating techniques, such as decoupage, burning, and gold leaf. Past projects include jewelry holders, rimon and apple honey dishes for Rosh HaShana, and butterfly pencil holders. Year long class.

Beginning Carpentry
1st -3rd Grade Girls, 4th -7th Girls. Learn about wood, tools, safety rules, project planning and finishing. Tools used include scrollsaw, drill, sanding machines and burner. Past projects include rimon puzzles, Chanukah menorahs, name plaques, and matza holders. Year long class
